Sequentia is a generative MIDI brain for hardware synths, drum machines and your DAW. New in 2.0 it makes sound on its own too, so you can start with nothing but the phone. Build a rack of modules. They share one tempo and one key, and most of them write their own part, so you have music to react to instead of a blank grid. Hold them as pads, or feed an Arp. · Arp: arpeggiates a chord, on its own or following a Chords module. · Stabs (new in 2.0): chord hits, skank to rave. 12 styles plus Random, with a preset library. · Piano: draw a melody by hand, or let it write one in a genre you pick. · Rain: generative note drops, from drizzle to downpour. · Mod: LFOs that sweep a CC on your synth. No notes, just movement. · Mixer: solo, mute and level for any module while it plays. Make it move: · Random for instant, balanced patterns. Mutate to evolve a pattern while it plays. · Fills, Humanize and Chop. · Per-voice swing, gate, ratchet and velocity. · Play modes: forward, reverse, ping-pong, random. All of it reacts while the music runs, so a set can be played rather than arranged.
