From C major to C# and Cb major, and their relative minors. The key signature glyphs draw on the staff exactly as they appear on real sheet music. *Two answer modes: Letters: buttons ordered by scale degree and spelled for the active key (E major shows E F# G# A B C# D#; Db major shows C Db Eb F Gb Ab Bb). Keyboard: a 12-key chromatic piano pad, labelled with the key's diatonic spelling. With Accidentals off, in-scale keys highlight in warm gold; out-of-scale keys stay neutral and are inactive. *Diatonic or chromatic: with Accidentals on, out-of-key notes appear with an explicit #, b, or natural symbol. Good for drilling chromatic reading within a real key signature. CHALLENGE MODE Turn on the timer and each note gives you six seconds to answer. Miss the window and it counts wrong. A hairline progress bar races across the screen. Score, accuracy, and response time are all tracked. ADAPTIVE TRAINER Portato tracks every answer. Notes you tend to miss appear slightly more often in future questions - a soft, weighted nudge toward your weak spots. The effect is gentle (never repetitive), so the session still feels random while quietly building proficiency where you need it most. STATS *Streak: current and longest consecutive practice days. *7-day chart: bar height is questions answered; color tint is accuracy. *By-note accuracy: see exactly which notes give you trouble, sorted with the weakest first. *Average response time per pitch class. SOUND Correct answers play the notated pitch on a warm synth tone; wrong answers buzz. Adjust volume with the Digital Crown during practice, or from the Settings screen.
